I filled out the health questionnaire on the tablet then had to fill it out again on paper....redundant time waste.

I arrive on time for my appointment but the wait time in the office was 1 hour before I saw the doctor! Although the reception staff was pleasant, I was not informed or updated that the doctor was running late or that I would have to wait so long for my appointment. If I had known the wait time would be so long, I would have rescheduled my appointment.

Dr. Kevin Peng is very, very professional. He has patience, a lot of patience for the clients. He's very nice, knowledgeable.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Peng is always friendly and attentive.

For the time that I wait, it was great. I didn't wait that long. But on the parking area, it's like I'm kind of confused for people that we never been there. So like more signs or like something like that for the parking space would be great.

I would give for 100 stars.

Walked in the office, was not greeted put my name down, took a seat and waited to be called. Would recommend to offer parking validation to patience.

I was diagnosed with manières dizzies, I had Vertigo sick 24-48 hrs., the loco Doctor recommended to LA Ear Clinic to Dr. Kevin Peng (thinking back how lucky I was). Dr. Kevin with his professionalism, knowledge in this field recommended medication, and Vestibular Migraine Diet and exercising on daily basis first, I did not take seriously the diet, but after I start to follow the diet, I start filling better and better, lately I did not dizziness for close to one year and I fill great. This was a and is a lifestyle change for me, thanks to Dr. Kevin Peng, with Dr. Kevin, I learned how to manage my dizziness, and my life changes in good way. Thank You Dr. Kevin.

Kevin Peng seemed like a very knowledgeable and helpful doctor. However, the appointment was over one hour late and the appointment felt rushed. But we got everything we needed in the end. Thank you.

Dr. Peng and team were attentive and helpfully exact to our needs. The earwax extraction process was amazing and so Sci-Fi. I love that as the patient I can watch the process on a big screen monitor. Wow! I came to him years after he had seen my late grandma. I was 9 at the time. He was wonderful with her. I used to attend Summer visits with my family because they wanted me to see the process. I remember Dr. Peng as being so compassionate with my Grandma that she was relieved to knownshe could do something positive toward her vertigo condition. He was the most kind to her in her many clinical encounters through her challenging neurological journey. Her family, me, my mom and her caretakers, were left a positive, compassionate impression that helped guide us to help her navigate her medical journey. Years later, we felt confident that he would understand my hyperacusis situation after acoustic shock trauma, so we booked an appointment. It is important to find doctors you can trust for help on your medical journey just as he helped grandma. I am also inspired to study science in my future studies. I love how he uses technology during the medical clinical exam.

Dr. Peng knowledgable, professional, engenders trust, developed a good action plan, and was great at explaining the condition and surgical procedure. I did not know ahead of time that I would be seen first by a fellow, and that an another intern from (word removed) would be in attendance. Might be good to give a heads up from the front desk, or seek prior permission, as I was not aware the clinic was a teaching facility. But overall, everything from reception to consultation was better than expected. There is a redundancy of questions, same ones on the iPad for check in as on the paper survey taken to the doc. Just sayin'...you make us write it twice...

This was an absolutely exceptional experience on all counts. My visit to Dr. Peng was my fifth visit to a provider to resolve my ear issue (all previous visits failed to address the issue, hence my visit with Dr. Peng). Dr. Peng and his colleagues finally made me feel confident that my issue was understood and competently addressed. The exam was very thorough and expertly handled. Treatment options were thoroughly explained and relevant. A superb medical experience!

Dr Peng is great and is office staff is great as well! Always kind and in a good mood! Love that at a Dr office!! Dr Peng is a great surgeon too!!! He will always be my hero!!! He made a unusual situation seem To be like the procedure was easy !!!

Dr. Peng and his fellow were wonderful and addressed my health concerns very directly and quickly.

I felt rushed through the very short appointment. I had more to say and I had more questions but was already in the hallway being excused.

The front office staff were rude and not very caring. I didn't feel valued. The location of the clinic is horrible. I parked in the lot across the street. The sidewalk is filled with homeless. I felt threatened. There were people "shooting up" in plain site. I will not come back. I like Dr Peng. I was seen first by a fellow. He had another person (resident) when he finally came in. I am extremely disappointed there was not a solution for my hearing loss, except to buy a more expensive hearing aid. We can put a man on he moon, but we can't find a solution for the millions of people with severe hearing loss. Something is wrong with this picture. House Clinic is world renown. Where is the research for a common problem. I asked about follicle transplant research and the fellow laughed and then said "it's a long way off. Why is that? We have stem cell treatments. I expected the clinic to be more research advanced.

the front office staff could be a little more friendly

Thank you for the opportunity to give my feedback of my recent visit at House Ear Clinic. The front desk people were very professional and helpful. Dr. Peng was very friendly and professional too. We address my ear's concerns. He carefully removed the dry blood from my right ear. I expressed that I have been tasting the blood, and the ear's drops as well for the past 3 weeks or so. Dr. Peng explained that on the surface, there is no indication of Cholesteatoma. However, he strongly suggested to have a CT SCAN done to rule out the possibility of having a tumor. Long wait. Front desk unapologetic

Fellow was rude and did not make things simple. It's stressful and she showed very little if any respect for that.

I wished the doctor would have explained things in a way I could understand because I don't understand medical language.

Hi, my name is (PHI removed), and I had a lot of difficulty getting an appointment for whatever reason. My insurance didn't think Dr. Peng was still with Regal and even sent me to another E&T until I insisted on finding him, even if I had to pay out of pocket. I really would like for this procedure to have flown up, flowed a lot easier because I was experiencing severe vertigo, and only with him have I been able to maintain and keep from having such severe vertigo spells. So thank you very much. I'm glad we found him and that we're under his treatment again.

For my needs I wish he were located in the Orange County office as it is 100 mile round trip to see him

For the effort I put forward to obtain my MRI and CT Scan on CDs I don't feel like I was given any attention to the findings on them. Very disappointed.

After waiting literally 90 minutes to be seen, the doctor was in the room for maximum of 5 minutes. He'd ask me a question and I'd barely get one sentence out and he'd talk over me. He didn't listen to what I was telling him about my condition. He just said that 90% of people get better with xyz treatment and wouldn't listen when I said that treatment wouldn't work for me. He just assumed I was a cookie cutter case and couldn't be arsed to actually listen to the atypical symptoms I was having. I've always said that the for-profit system in the US attracts two kinds of doctors, those who care and want to be healers, and those who are in it for the money. He is clearly the latter. I am a very busy professional who can't waste literally half a work day in order to spend 5 minutes with a doctor who won't even listen to me. I won't be returning. Do better.

Dr Peng was kind and helpful. His assistant was not.

Distance from home. 1.5 hours to arrive. Two hours to return. I'm a native to Los Angeles, born in Hollywood., Attended LA. Schools for all grades, UCLA on the Westside, but Eighty years later, the city sucks.

the office changed their record system so was unable to locate previous test results

Dr. Peng has a good bedside manner and was willing to spend a few extra minutes with me to assist with a balance issue.

That last question was a mistake. It should be a 10 instead of a 1.

I waited 45 minutes before being called back to see the doctor because the office staff said that she did not notice that I was in the waiting room.

Dr. Peng is probably the finest doctor I have ever seen. He is professional, but also very caring. I am so lucky that Facey Medical Group referred me to him. He saved my ear and my life and the care has continued regularly for over 4 years. I am so very, very grateful. Thank you!!!!!

It is not easy to get an appointment.

I always appreciate Dr. Kevin Peng He is the most knowledgeable ,helpful and considerate doctor. The customer service supervisor (name removed) also is courteous, efficient and kind. Both of them made my visit to House Clinic an enjoyable experience. I have no hesitation to recommend them to my family and friends.

Every time I go down to see Dr. Peng, I am treated with the utmost care. Everybody at the desk is fabulous. Dr. Peng himself, I consider him a lifesaver. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I basically was expecting a lot better response in terms of how to take care of my hearing loss or a lot better treatment in a way. Basically he gave me no alternative except making it, I mean, try to get a cochlear implant which I wasn't too happy about that. And it was nothing he could do for my tinnitus. So I wasn't really happy with that. Thank you.

We had a really easy time making an appointment, but the issue that we had was we needed to get a hearing test, and that took a lot, lot longer than it should have. But I will say that we had a really great appointment with Dr. Peng, and we trust him with our child and the care that he provides. So overall, we're pretty happy with the practice. Thank you.

I'm happy that I'm finally addressing this issue with my hearing. I don't know what the end result will be. I just wish I didn't have to travel to DTLA. The traffic and surrounding area is not good.

We were told to arrive at 12:45 for 1:30 Hearing appointment. We waited until 2:15pm to be seen. The receptionist was incredibly rude when we inquired about the wait. Her attitude was abysmal. There was no reason for her crass responses.

I was disappointed to find homeless people in tents outside this providers office on the sidewalk as well as observing human feces on the sidewalk.

I really wish that I had known about Dr. Peng and the House Institute about a year ago when I had to, I went to for care at all sorts of other places, but no one knew as much as Dr. Peng and the House Institute for hearing problems. Thank you.

Yes, Dr. Peng gave me a lot of hope with this tinnitus. My ENT in the valley here gave me no hope and never explained anything, but Dr. Peng explained everything and says I have a chance of being able to habituate with this thing. So I'm totally grateful to the guy. I'd recommend him highly. Thank you.

I travel over one hour to access this doctor. Location is the biggest issue.

I love the fact that there is valet parking available, which helped me get on time yo my appointment. The staff at the doctor's office was great and the doctor was able to answer every single question I had. His assistant was kind enough to let me hold her while the doctor injected my ear. I forgot her name but I'm appreciative of that act of kindness that I needed at that moment, and of course, it did not impede for her to perform her task, I just needed the physical touch because I was being anxious with the needle going in my ear. It went smoothly thanks to the doctor and her. ¡Muchas gracias!

Dr. Peng is a great doctor, but our experience with this office has not been good. We will be moving to another doctor. Our last appointment was somehow scheduled at his LA office, and we sat in the Orange county office for 40 minutes before someone told us he wasn't at that office that day. We need my mom's ears cleaned out monthly at least, and Dr Peng insists for the next appointment to be in 4 months. We will be going to a different ENT from here out.

I need to get back to Dr. Peng. A couple of things were not clear about the MRI and how it was going to get done and how I needed to use my instructions with my ear now that I had a tube. I'm going to get those clarified probably tomorrow morning if I can get to him on the phone. Other than that, he was excellent and I would recommend him.

Hello, I arrived at my appointment time of 1.30 and at 2.15 I finally went up to the front desk and asked if I was going to be seen and no one seemed to know that I was there, even though I had signed in and someone had called me at 1.45 to verify that I was in the office. They actually asked me what my name was and whether I had an appointment, which I thought was very strange. When they finally realized they had overlooked the fact that I was sitting in their waiting room, they did get me in quickly, but it was a shame that I had to wait 45 minutes before they realized I was sitting there.

Dr. and office never followed up with referrals + tests. did not schedule at time of my visit because the entire office left for lunch before my visit was done. None of my messages via the portal or phone have been returned

Hi, Dr. Peng is great. I mean, just incredible. And he was so concerned about every aspect of my care and surgery. And I was just, I was treated so well and everybody from the staff outside all the way to the surgery and aftercare. I mean, they're just great. Every single person was awesome. And I had to reschedule once and they got me back in. So I am, I could say endless good things about PIH. And I mean, you guys are the best. Thank you.

I'd like to say that this PIH system of looking for information for me was an absolutely miserable experience. I had a wonderful time with Dr. Peng. It was great. I think he's a wonderful doctor. But this survey system and this system of preparing to see the doctor, you know, all the forms I had to fill out and everything, it was a miserable experience. You really need to upgrade this. Pay more attention to the details, not the questions.

Dr Peng is the Best the people at the front desk all wonderful, Dr. Peng nurse is wonderful BUT (name removed) the person that handles the referral is something else, I have to call for him to send the referral for the different test, I saw Dr. Peng on April 30, 2024 it wasn't until May 23, 2024 I left a message with (name removed), he calls me back left message giving me excuse that just wanting for the insurance group to give authorization, when I looked on the portal it showed the day before that it was sent to they office, then I am waiting another 3 to 4 weeks for (name removed) to call me back with the Authorization he never did I had to call the office of Dr. Peng, to make the appointment. This is not good practice of Mr. (name removed) part. When I called the office the excuse was they were over worked and (name removed) was doing the job of 3 people were are short handed. I'm sorry but you never say that to a patient! Thank you for your concern.

The doctor was friendly, personable, and attentive. However, it did not resolve my pain and my problem.

I was very, very impressed with the staff and certainly with Dr. Peng. He answered all my questions. He took care of me. The audiologist was fine. Everyone was wonderful and my experience was very good. My results were what they were and I'm following up on it and I hope to have an appointment back with Dr. Peng again. Thank you again.

I had an appointment today 6/20/24 10:30am. The team didn't schedule a hearing test for me, so they tried to fit me in. When I went down to the hearing test office, it was uncomfortable when they said to me, "Why did they send you down when we hadn't confirmed we could see you?" When I asked if they knew whether I would be done by 12pm, they said they had no idea. I had to be out by 12pm, so I went back to the main office to let them know. No one seemed to know what was going on so I left. I was frustrated because all of this could've been avoided when I called up 6/19/2024 to make sure I had my hearing test booked. The scheduler said no test was booked and wouldn't schedule me because they couldn't see any notes confirming the Dr. ordered it, even though I pointed out that I was 5 months post-op and needed one.

I can assure you that everything he did had an effect on my operation that I have to do after the procedure, but that I see it well. He deserves it, his treatment was very pleasant and I am happy and grateful for this.

It was the first time I was to the office since they moved to the Wilshire building. It was wonderful. It was very clean. It was nice. It was easy to find. And easy to find the suite number. Also, Dr. Peng is absolutely fabulous and a wonderful physician. He did a bilateral and tubes and was just, I was elated. Thank you so much for being there and for having a wonderful facility.

I was surprised at having to fill out a second paper history form during this visit after submitting an extensive history online. It seems like the left hand does not talk to the right hand. I did not have all the detailed information at my fingertips to enter in the second form, but could have brought it if I had known I was going to have to go through a second history.

Very informative and helpful to understand my condition

Everything was great except for the long wait time. I ended up seeing the doctor 1 hour and 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. That's a long wait.

Very pleasant ! Almost felt like I was interacting with friends I had known a long time.

Dr Peng does not explain much. I asked regarding the treatment of tinnitus and he mentioned sound therapy. When I asked about that, he said it involved videos. So then I had to ask what were they with videos of, was it educating us? And then he said no they were sounds. So then I'd ask. What do you mean by sounds. And that's when he said that they were trying to match the tinnitus with other sounds of similar frequencies so that I would not notice it. It's like playing 20 questions because he wants me out of there to see the next patient. I really never feel satisfied with my visits as I feel rushed, glib answers, feels common things are common, and if he has not seen it, then it must not have happened despite me telling him there are many incidences in the literature about what I am experiencing. So I just get the basics done here.

I checked in for a hearing test prior to my appointment with Dr. Peng and waited. After a half hour past my hearing test I asked and was told the hearing test was done in another office. This meant I would now miss my appt. with Dr. Peng. Very unprofessional. I should have been told right away that the hearing test was in a different office.

Got approximately 11 minutes of Dr peng's time if not less, and received no useful information. He did not address anything my other doctor mentioned. Still waiting on email response from him about this, a week later.

It was extremely difficult to schedule appointment. Office lady staff was rude it took several months to schedule, contacted insurance, and filed grievance. Was willing to go to Orange County location but was told I had to go to LA location. My primary care provider tried contacting multiple times as well as faxed results multiple times and I in turn picked it up and physically brought it. The doctor (Dr. Peng) was excellent.

Just trying to prescribe medication, not looking into other alternatives. Continues gives bland and smart remarks.

The lady at the audio office, was not friendly asking me about my insurance, otherwise everybody else are the best.

Pls improve and do something about approval time of insurance referrals. Leaving a voicemail for referral requests prior to appointment scheduling is pointless. I never get a call back or status unless I actually talk to the person in charge and getting him on the phone takes forever.
